ABA Made Simple, LLC has done all in its power to prevent data theft, unauthorized access, and disclosure by implementing the latest technologies and software, which help us safeguard or protect all the information we collect online. 

Except where indicated below, it is our policy to refrain from the release of confidential information that you provide to ABA Made Simple, unless such information is necessary to 

1. Verify the authenticity of information provided to ABA Made Simple

2.  Is requested by a third-party (i.e., employer/agency (for attestation of completion),  or court of law, etc.)

3. Or  subpoenaed.

• To get the most out of your ABA Made Simple experience, you will be asked to acknowledge and accept our cookies.  When you accept these terms, you also agree for us to use the data it collects regarding your online behavior (analyze web traffic, web pages you spend the most time on, actions you may take on our website, LMS, our store, and/or websites you visit). By continuing to use our site, it is our belief you are enjoying your experience :)

• The data we collect by using cookies are used to customize our website to meet your learning needs and overall experience of the platform. After statistical analysis is completed, the data is removed from our systems.

Our website contains links that lead to other websites (I.e.  Behavior Analyst Certification Board (www.BACB.com). California Civil Code Section 1798.83 provides California residents with certain additional rights related to their personal information. This code requires that an entity, such as ABA Made Simple, must provide California residents with the ability to request information pertaining to the business disclosure of personal information to third parties when such information is intended for the express purpose of direct marketing by a third party. However, as we mentioned previously in our Privacy Policy, your personal information is never shared with any third party for direct marketing purposes. 

Use of ABA Made Simple media resources or aids is subject to the Terms of Use of this Site.  Media resources are owned, developed, or commissioned by ABA Made Simple, LLC.  Such media includes but not limited to:

Media resources or aids may only be used in noncommercial content (presentations, lecture, podcasts, supervisee training) subject to Fair Use limitations.  Any time you use ABA Made Simple media resources or aids, always use proper citation in which ABA Made Simple is cited as the source and owner of the content.  

Just like we love making things simple, most publications will have the citation on the media resource or aid.  When sharing our social media content,  tag us in the post.  Not only will you be following this Policy, you will also be more likely to gain more exposure and disseminate ABA with further reach.

In many situations, a provisional 5-day permission of usage will be granted for non-commercial educational purposes. 

Due to the nature of downloadable electronic goods such as:

• eBooks

• Interactive eBooks

• Digital audio

• Digital video 

• Presentation slides

• or other digital good

We cannot provide a refund for these items.  All sales are final.

1. Cancellation of On-Demand (Asynchronous) Course(s) That Were Not Activated

An exchange, store credit or full refund is provided if a cancellation is made by emailing us or completing our Simple Cancellation Form prior to activating your e-learning course(s).  Store credit, exchanges or refunds must be requested by emailing JoinABAMadeSimple@gmail.com 

2. Cancellation After Starting an On-Demand (Asynchronous) Course

Cancellation requests can be made within 14 days of activating the course.  A store credit or prorated refund up to 50% will be provided based on the learner completing no more than 50% of the course.  If a learner has completed 51% or more of the course, he/she may receive a store credit of 50% of the course's purchased price.  No refund will be provided after this time period.  Cancellations must be requested by emailing JoinABAMadeSimple@gmail.com 

1. Cancellation After Registering for a LIVE (Synchronous) Course

Cancellation requests need to be made within 48 hours prior to the start of the LIVE session.  Cancellation requests made within 48 hours prior to the event can request an exchange to a different LIVE event and date, store credit or full refund.  No refund will be provided after this time period as we have secured the presenter and their time to conduct the LIVE course.  However, please remember, most LIVE classes or courses will be recorded and available within our store. Cancellations must be requested by emailing JoinABAMadeSimple@gmail.com 

1. Course Extensions 

Course extensions can be granted for any course that is not designed to meet a credentialing body’s standard to become eligible to apply for a specific professional credential (exclusions apply).  For eligible courses, request an extension of 30 days for 50% off the original cost or $25 (whichever is the lower cost) by emailing JoinABAMadeSimple@gmail.com 

2. Course Extension Exclusions

Some courses we deliver are designed to meet and exceed the quality training standards set-forth by a credentialing body, like the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (www.BACB.com).  In such cases, we prohibit students from extending a course that serves this function.  The following course(s) may not be extended, however, you may retake the course in its entirety so we can maintain the integrity of our programming, the field of behavior analysis, and maintain the standards that align with a particular credentialing body.

• RBT Made Simple 40-hour course

1. Course Completion Certificates for On-Demand Asynchronous Learning

The Course Completion Certificate and/or a CEU Certificate is earned by meeting our course completion standards which include:

1. Attending 100% of the program session(s) and 

2. Earning a minimum of 80% on the corresponding post-course evaluations (aka the “quiz”).   

For most programs, you will automatically receive a Certificate of Completion or CEU Certificate (whichever applies to your registered course) to the Email we have on record.  You may find a copy of your Certificate within your ABA Made Simple portal.   Please note, we strongly encourage users and registrants to use their personal email as the primary contact on your account, and your work/employer email as your secondary contact so certificates are directly delivered to your personal  inbox.

1. Course Completion Certificates for LIVE Synchronous Learning

The Course Completion Certificate and/or a CEU Certificate is earned by meeting our LIVE course completion standards which include:

1. Attending 100% of the program session(s) in their entirety 

2. Earning a minimum of 80% on the corresponding post-course evaluations (aka the “quiz”) when applicable.

3. Complete a feedback survey about the content, presenter etc, when applicable.

For most LIVE programs, you will automatically receive a Certificate of Completion or CEU Certificate (whichever applies to your registered course) via Email within 48-hours of the airing date of the class.  One can request a copy of their Certificate within 3 years of the date it was earned by either logging into your account or Emailing us at JoinABAMadeSimple@gmail.com
